GmpUpdates is an independent Indian IPO research platform launched in 2025 with one goal: to make IPO investing clearer, faster, and more data-driven for retail investors. We track every mainboard and SME IPO on the NSE and BSE — bringing together live Grey Market Premium (GMP), price bands, subscription status, allotment details, financials, and a plain-English verdict for each issue in one place.

What We Do

India sees hundreds of IPOs every year, and the data around them is scattered across dozens of sources. We consolidate it. For each IPO you’ll find:

  • Live GMP — the grey market premium, tracked daily from multiple sources
  • IPO details — price band, lot size, issue size, dates, and structure (fresh issue vs offer for sale)
  • Subscription status — retail, NII, and QIB demand as it builds through the open window
  • Financial analysis — revenue, profit, margins, P/E, and return ratios drawn from the prospectus

How We Work

Our data comes from official and established sources — company offer documents, the stock exchanges (NSE and BSE), and recognised market-data providers — and it is refreshed twice a day so the figures you see stay current. Our analysis is built on those numbers, never on rumours or unverified tips. Where we form a view, it is a structured, algorithm-assisted read of the actual data (GMP, subscription, valuation, and fundamentals) that our editorial team reviews for accuracy before it goes live.
